Bespoke framing: simply choose your print, add a mount and moulding from the dozens on display, and our professional framers will turn them into a work of art for your wall.  We can also frame all kinds of art, photographs, needlecrafts, medals and other memorabilia.

Resilvering: we can bring new life to treasured old mirrors with our professional resilvering service.

Chameleon Design Limited was founded in 1986 on the banks of the River Tyne in Newcastle City Centre.  Two years later we moved to our current home on the Team Valley, where the mirror factory is complemented by a 5,000 sq ft purpose-built showroom.  The company won the first ever Hardware and Housewares Show Export Award in 1989, and in 1990 we were finalists for the Northern Business Awards Exporter of the Year.

Our showroom is an Aladdin's cave of décor ideas for your home.  Over two floors you will find hundreds of mirrors ranging from the traditional to stunning contemporary designs imported directly from Europe.  Whether you are seeking something practical for the bathroom or a fantastic centrepiece for your living room, we are sure to have something to suit. 

In addition to our mirrors we offer a vast range of framed and loose prints.  We have thousands to choose from in our browsers and catalogues, as well as ready-to-hang framed prints in our gallery.  We also supply to the trade, with our products on display in restaurants, bars and hotels across the North.

Mirrors cut to size: our factory specialises in glass processing, so if you need to replace a broken mirror, or find one of a specific size, we can cut and bevel one to your specification.

Site survey and fitting: for large or difficult items, we will be happy to measure up, supply and fit the finished item.  We can also advise on the correct fixings for the weight of the object and its intended location.

Delivery service: we can arrange delivery of your chosen items, just ask at reception.  Our experienced staff will be happy to advise you.

The showroom is also home to a huge selection of figurines, occasional tables, vases, furniture, ornaments and bric-a-brac.  What we can show you on our website is only a small fraction of what we have to offer, and many items are only available in limited quantities.  Our stock changes continuously, so if you see something you like, please confirm availability with our showroom staff.

We are open seven days a week and there is ample customer parking on site, so why not come in and browse?
